How To Use Steora?

This (r)evolutionary bench comes in 3 models - Classic, City & Cyclo with the following joint functions: solar panels, wireless charging, ambient lights, and environmental sensors. Each smart bench model has different functionalities and also could have different features built-in. In the following instructions, we will explain how to use each of the functionality and answer some of your questions.

Device Charging

  • Find this sign on your bench, place your device on it, and the charging starts automatically as soon as the Qi charger detects your device. It supports all Qi phones, watches, and earbuds.
  • USB chargers provide fast charging capability. They are located on the front side of the bench seat. Each USB charger has 2 ports capable of charging any phone but also provides an optimal charging experience for Apple, Samsung, and Huawei devices.

Internet Connection

  • Connect your device on Wi-Fi by scanning a QR code on the bench or simply choosing Steora Wi-Fi network on your device. The Wi-Fi is usually available within a 20-meter radius.

Bike Station (available only with Steora Cyclo models)

  • Air Compressor supports Presta & Schrader valves and has an automatic start/stop system.
  • Hand tools include screwdrivers, hexagons, and wrenches.
  • DC charging plugs - 3x e-scooter connectors (Lime, Bird, Xiaomi, Razor, Segway).
  • AC socket with 220V and a safety mechanism. Charge your e-bike, laptop, or any other device with AC power plugs.

1. How do I know if my Steora bench has all these functionalities?

  • As we have already mentioned, Steora comes in 3 models - Classic, City & Cyclo. Each model can have different features built-in. Steora Classic & City are benches for any city street or promenade, while Steora Cyclo is recognizable by its metal bike holders. All you need to do is look for the functionality icon on the bench and you'll know what your smart bench has.

2. How long does it take to fully charge my phone?

  • Charging time depends on the charging type and your smartphone. If you use a wireless charger, it usually takes approximately 90 minutes for a full charge. But, when it comes to USB ports, the charging speed is mostly between 1 and 1,8 % of battery per minute. Please note that charging speed depends on whether your phone is on standby mode or in use.

3. How long does it take to fully charge my e-bike?

  • Charging time depends on the bicycle charger and its battery capacity. Ideally, it could charge the bicycle battery fully in under 90 minutes. Regular electric bicycle charging time to a full battery can be between 3 and 5 hours.

4. Can the bench collect my personal information during the charging process?

  • No, the bench does not collect any personal information during charging process.
